Editing Rates

Editing: $20 per hour (if working with student) or $2 per page

Editing a paper is an intense process that involves evaluating a document with the student from the ground up. After the student writes the document, we will work with him or her and thoroughly edit the composition multiple times until a suitable final draft emerges. During the editing process we will discuss structural problems, organizational issues, continuity, and research sources.

Proofreading: $20 per hour (if working with student) or $1 per page

Proofreading is a process during which we will go through each correction and discuss why the change(s) must be made. Proofreading does not cover organizational issues, sources, or continuity. Proofreading is simply finding grammatical and mechanical errors, defining the errors, and fixing the errors.

Typing: $1 per page
